Hi, I wanted to apply Ambient Occlusion to GTA : San Andreas using NVIDIA Inspector but it doesn't work. I know that NVIDIA Inspector works because when I tried limiting fps with it, it did work. I followed this tutorial I tried searching for a solution but the only thing I found is playing a game in windowed mode but ALT + Enter doesn't work and I tried Windowed Mode mods but that didn't help either, AO still doesn't appear.

New-Gen ENBs are terribly optimized, even the ENB developer admitted it. And old-gen ENBs don't have that good ambient occlusion. That's why I was looking for an alternative until I gave up.

You're seriously comparing a laptop mid-end card from 2014 with desktop high-end cards?

„Its probably because of how i capture colors by reading from video memory. This very much differ by performance from system to system and you have laptop, so its even harder to tweak. I abandoned modding this game and must be some serious reason to do any changes again, sorry.“ - Boris words.

Most new-gen ENBs drop about 30-40fps just by installing them and being disabled (Don't know why this happens).

And as I said, I already gave up about achieving AO... I can achieve it with ReShade but you need to do a bit of tweaking in .dll files to make it work in multiplayer.

i was comparing the visual fidelity not the cards I don't see how you got to that conclusion.

    USE THE OLDER ENB SERIES...JEESH

I used to use enb with my amd hd2600. bumpmapping ao and reflections activated and netted 60fps....and yes I said hd2600. and the laptop that im using right now has cross fire 7660g and 7670m I picked it up for 50 dollars.

older enb series is the only way to add AO. you asked for AO I gave you AO. why the heck do you want AO. iv'e been more than helpful. you got alot of nerve, biting the hand that helps you. no one on NBR chimed in to help but me.

long story short, your trolling. If i asked for an apple and then said it's not red enough i'd be trolling for apples.
