Welll.... the X1400 although cheaper is better than the Go7300.

don't feel too bad, we've all done it

and the buy you made isn't that big of a deal. i mean yeah the x1400 is a better card but we're not talking 7600 vs 8800 here. and besides, its only money :)

You'll be just fine. Don't worry about it. It is still a decent card.

As for sales and computers don't worry about it. You will be miserable all the time if you get caught up in that. Prices are always getting cheaper and cheaper.

And don't worry, I did the same thing as you. I have an Inspiron 6000 with an x300, and Notebook Review showed me that it wasn't the best gaming card. However, it really isn't that bad, I have played plenty of games with it.

Hope that cheers you up a bit. Do you plan on gaming, and if so, what games?

Especially dont let that bother you, you will only beat yourself up over something that is inevitable to happen. I am sure once you receive your laptop you will be happy with it, and all things considered a 7300 is better than a run of the mill gma 950 ;) ...

The Go7300 is capable of playing every modern game so there's not much to worry about. As poster chonga said, the difference between it and the X1400 isn't that noticeable.

People have run F.E.A.R. Combat on an X200M - you can definitely run it on a Go7300. Best of all, the game is free so it won't hurt to download. ;)

dont worry man, i gave the go7300 (see sig) and i play guildwars and cs1.6 maxed out out. Quake 4 on 800x600 medium quality with ~30fps. Also neverwinter nights 1280x800 and high settings with only occasional slowdowns. UT04 on 1280x800 and high and its very playable. Its good(ish) card man, dont worry!
