Who cares? Who honestly cares about PhysX CPU? PhysX CPU is the cause of bottlenecks and issues in any game that uses the garbage PhysX. If you don't have an NVidia card dedicated to PhysX, it's best to turn down to lowest possible, even if you got an NVidia card. I play Borderlands with PhysX on the lowest setting possible even with 980M.

NVidia instead of making it open source should just kill it and admit it sucked and has always suck and will always suck.

PhysX never took off depite being around for a decade. Ofc its proprietary status didn't help, but now that Nvidia has no hardware in any of the current-gen consoles, it's a matter of too little too late. PlanetSide 2, which had one of the most amazing implementations of GPU PhysX, actually had it permanently taken out of the game when they began developing/optimizing it for PS4.

Yeah, PhysX was always a joke. Trying to sell extra video cards just to use PhysX when it made little to no difference even in games that did support it. Many of the titles are garbage to begin with. See the list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_hardware-accelerated_PhysX_support

I mean games like Bet on Soldier and Hot Dance Party really aren't anything I would want to put on my resume, lol.

If Nvidia put half as much effort in actual developing their product as they do with their marketing schemes we'd be gaming at 4k with 35W TDP GPU's right now.
