    Windows Vista/7 64 bit

    Windows Vista/7 32 bit

Haven't tried these but I've been using the beta version and I get better performance in games.
There is still occasional lockups and stuff but the usual "prefer maximum performance" did the trick.

Installed them couple of hours ago and have seen no improvment in benchs (3dm11 and vantage), nor any difference in temps. I moved up from 261.14
The problem with tese 266.58 is that I have some odd screen flickering no matter what I'm doing , and it;s very very annoying.

I did too, then I updated JAVA and removed its older installation and the flickering went away.

Not good for XP users with Sli using my xps m1730 in sli.
It brought the performance almost on par with Win 7 crap x64.

got a big hit in Dirt 2 under xp (min 46 max 56.4) was min 50 max 60.
3dmark06 dropped as well from 16221 to 15991.

I dont even want to mention Win 7 x64 performance. Mafia 2 was around 50, it dropped to 47.6.

Works fine with Alienware M17xR2 285m SLI. don't use drive sweeper! just update. 3DMARK Scores the same :(

Ahh as for working , they works. As i said under X64 win7 it shows some improvement but theres still a huge gap between same dx9 game ran on 7 and on XP.

Dual boot saves me. I use and access 7 only for those DX10 games (like Hawx1,Just Cause 2) and stick to XP for daily gaming, as far as the games i play are DX9 only.

Also under XP you get Powermizer under NVCP AND On-the-fly SLI switching, no need to reboot.

The fact is that XP drivers are so far more mature and more tasty, with more options. X64 win 7 seems that are a betas.

Anyway i dont agree, always unistall the driver, run Driver Sweeper, Run CCleaner and install newer ones.
Install drivers on top of the others leaves too much remnants around and ive experienced some serious issues in the past due to this.
The new "clean" installation from nvidia helps alot, but still, manual clean is better imho ;)

I've had unforeseen problems when running driver sweeper, problems you won't realize you have until later in the future when you start getting errors trying to install newer drivers or reverting back to previous ones. What's worse was not even being able to use system restore because of using driver sweeper or any register cleaner. Frightening!

    have to agree with Kingpinzero.
driver sweeper and cc cleaner everytime.
my nexus/clevo is over 2 years old now and the only time ive had problems with graphics drivers is when ive updated without using sweeper and cc first.

hardly any difference with 3dmark06 or vantage scores this time but 2c lower on hard drive temperature which is always a good thing.
its pointless me doing in game benches as im on the older 9800GT graphics card.
    also no flikering problems.

Did that and still flickers. I reverted to 265.96 and no problems so far (temps are with 2-3 degrees lower) and benchs are the same figures.

I'm done upgrading drivers. The 260M is tapped out and won't see any more performance increases.

Now when I get my 485M? Then new driver optimizations will mean something.

What's CP? and how can you install it in your X505 without a modded inf? I can't install these on my X505 and laptopvideo2go doesn't seem to offer modded INFs for drivers anymore.

Audi, let me know if you can get these to install, and how. Thanks

Just found out that 266.35 and later allow you to force AA in Dead Space.

That gave me a real reason to update.

As Thatoe says CP is control panel. Just checked and you find both the driver and modded inf file at laptopvideogo. Go the drivers 266 section and download it...as i just did and, now everything is working, exept the HDMI is alittle troubblesome

Thanks Audi, but I can't seem to find the inf or drivers. It says error, "it appears somethings was misplaced". Can you link me to the driver and INF?

EDIT: I can link to the driver, but INF says the error. Please link me to modded INF

Oh Wow! Thank you very much! I'm installing right now. Could you give me the exact URL (copy and paste) please so next time I can navigate there on my own. Thanks again Audi! wish me luck on the install. :D

EDIT: I copied and pasted that URL and it goes to the error page. Is it just my computer? Am I doing something wrong?

Not yet, I can't stop playing BFBC2 lol. Anyway each time I go to laptopvideo2go I can't find any older drivers or Infs. It keeps telling me error something was misplaced.

Is the NVAA.INF you gave me a modded one for Toshiba? I see Acer apps in the Nvidia control panel.

Please give me a link/URL to the inf page on laptopvideo2go so next time I can just go there on my own and pick up a Toshiba modded inf for future drivers.

No its not a modded for Toshiba, and i think thats why we cant adjust the brightness.

There is no link to only inf file, only the driver section

lol shucks, are there any serious consequences to using a modded inf that's not meant for Toshiba?
