I am looking to get a new laptop shortly and have found two which seem to meet the budget.

The first is an HP with a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT130M and Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8600

The second is a Packard Bell with NVidia GeForce 9800GTS and Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8400

Which is likely to serve me best for general gaming?
I haven’t got many “hard core” pc games as I haven’t previously had a good enough set up to run them, however I currently play the likes of Total War, Neverwinter nights2 but am looking forward to the release of Dragon Age origins and COD Modern warfare 2.

I also want something that will last a few years before I find that I can only run newly released games at bare minimum.
Any recommendations? My understanding of hardware is limited to knowing that I understand very little!

9800m gts all the way. The 130m can't compare to it.
