Does anyone play NWN II? I would like to play with someone. Never had a chance to play it. Also i am amazed that my GTX 260m can't max the settings out lol. I get barely 30FPS at 1920x1200 with some shaders cut out and i think 2x AA and 2x AS filter lol. Just surprised its a really really old game :) I got an older laptop but this game was made way before it from what i remember lol.

Gagh. That's an old one I haven't even touched yet (at least not beyond the first hour of gameplay). That says something for my ability to make time for online gaming :D.

Take out (or reduce) the shadow level and it should run flawless. It is true that the engine was not well scaled (it was tweaked by Obsidian, so it is really not news).

yea i can live with only player shaders and a couple other things hit so i can play with ~30fps...dont want to loose res or anymore detail...running max clock since overvolting my gpu is nearly impossible....impossible for me because i dont know how to edit bios to get to vbios lol

So does anyone wnat to play? I played the NWN almost all the way through completing like every side quest. only had 1 or 2 chapters left and spent like 150+ hours on it lol

I played Nwn 1 all the way through as well including all expansions and MANY custom modules; some very good ones I might add, better than the original story.

I also played Nwn 2 all the way through with every expansion up to the Storms of Zehir module.

I played tons of custom modules on there as well including "harp and chrysanthemum" which was one of my favorites for the extreme engaging and immersive atmosphere, even though it was pretty short the quality of the storytelling was staggering.

Now I haven't touched Nwn 2 for a while, but might be willing to take another look at it and check what's up on the Nwn 2 Nexus :)

Afaik these nexus sites are mod databases basically; I got some mods for a game (maybe Fallout 3..) from a nexus site long ago.

Skyrim with 120+ texture/mesh/lod and armor/weapon and population/gameplay mods will max out my 1gb Vram and cause CTD's. Luckily I found a solution that not only decreases used Vram but increases in-game FPS! Here it is Optimizer Textures at Skyrim Nexus - Skyrim Mods and community
