This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Since NWN2 is delayed ( http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=489300&forum=95&sp=0), I´ve got a little more time to make my decision to purchase a new notebook.

    I was wondering whether people on this forum think that there will be significant price drops to the M1210, W3J, or W7J line by mid-October. If so, I might be compelled to delay my purchase until then.

    If anyone wants to chime in, I´d greatly appreciate it!

    I concur with the last post in that thread.
    Looking at the Oblivion-like requirements for this, I'd be more inclinded to play this on an uber gaming rig (if I can scrape up enough to build one by the end of the year).

    I don't think there will be significant price drops for any most laptops. They might up the specs for the same prices at the very least. Merom should also be appearing in laptop around then, so that might also be an option.
