    I will need some game to keep myself busy after I leave WoW for good, any thoughts which one has better gameplay, storyline, 'richness'?

    Pros and Cons of both games would be great too.

    check rpg game suggestion thread

    i might tell you a lot on both of these games... you can also ask me on the IMs - i believe there are a few contact options down in the signature :D

    long story short - nwn2 if you're accustomed to the dnd3+ rule-set, tes4o if you want to play "solo" only.

    The second is more arcade the first is an old style rpg...
    Take both of them because they are totally different

    To be short...
    STORY -> NWN2
    GRAPHICS -> OBLIVION
    GAMEPLAY -> Depends on what you mean for RPG...

    Both are worth it for an RPG gamer.

    Even if he goes back to WoW.

    Both games are hours upon hours of entertainment and were worth every penny I spent on both of them.

    Honestly, if I still played WoW, I'd probably NEED both of those games to reduce my negativity towards reproducing.

    Playing WoW is quite possibly the very best arguement for contraceptive on the planet.

    PS If I had to pick one, I'd go with NWN2 (and the expansion) if I wanted better NPCS and interaction and Oblivion if I wanted more freedom.

    QFT!

    I loved Oblivion, but I never played NWN2. I did play NWN1... and wasn't overly impressed, and I enjoy D&D games. But I've heard nothing but great things about NWN2.

    So... steal Oblivion and buy NWN2... wait, just kidding :-D

    WoW is a no-no for me, it's bad I am playing it for for 2.5 years now, come to think of it how much money I've spent paying month after month.
    I'll give oblivion a try, I never played NWN2 but I did try NWN1 Original years and years ago, didn't get into it.

    Question about oblivion, i know there's going around nudity mod for Oblivion, if I buy Oblivion for PS3 would I be able to install that mod on PS3 or it's for PC only? My laptop can handle Oblivion just fine but it's just so much better playing on Hi Def LCD TV with a gamepad rather than 15'' screen and a keyboard :)

    Go for the eyes! YEARRGH. :D

    That certainly brought back memories.

    To the OP: I would go for Oblivion, but like others have said, it's a very personal choice.

    I played the first NWN and I was dissapointed that it was no where near as good as the Baldur's Gate series. The sequel (NWN 2) is also made by a different software developer so it probably won't be anywhere as good as the old Bioware games like BG2 and KOTOR.

    I haven't played NWN 2 however, but I have played Oblivion and it was definately worth it. Oblivion = One of the best RPG's in years.
