The problem here is that they didn't require a CD key for online play. The servers are CRAMMED with pirates, takes forever to find a game.

Im definitely going to pick this up come payday, 2k9 was fun but with the added online features this looks extra sweeeet. I just hope my ageing system can play it (Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz, 8600M GT and 2GB RAM)

Im a sucker for sports games, I just wish they'd bring out a new Madden or something too :(

Yeah me too i wish EA hadnt bought the NFL license so 2k sports can make a football game with NFL players like NBA2k9. Also there hadnt been any Madden for PC for years so basically EA is ditching the PC sports gamers

Does anyone know how this game runs in comparison to 2k9?

...I was able to play 2k9 at 1360 x 768, settings: high, crowd: medium.

Love my player mode. But there's a bug where after you finish a whole NBA season with your player, and it gets stuck/exits to desktop. Haha and I'm on that point :(

Apparently a patch is going to come out to address this issue, but its been too long since its first announcement.

And of course playing with graphics maxed out with no lag :D.

i play it at 1080p with no aa, i think it get 70fps on the benchmark with this on a mild o/c. i can however handle max aa with 30fps in some camera modes.
with the right tweaks in gameplay settings it is the most realistic simulation of basketball.
i hardly play it as a game even. i just fire it up and watch teams play like im watching tv, and with live stats and all. great fun.
i believe its the best basketball out there, and maybe the best sports game on the pc.

i do. i think my fps'es are wrong. at 1080p with no aa i get 55fps. at 1600x900 all max i get 78fps.
even at the lower settings the stutter is there but it becomes almost undetectable.
i watch the game in a different camera view and the stuttering is gone.
