I reckon I will get this for the ps3 as the requirements are high and consoles are the best for these types of games. I may buy it on PC when I get a laptop that is powerful even though I meet the minimum requirements, ps3 gameplay is the best for online as there are not many people online on pc games after a few months in terms of release date.

I have to say the gameplay looks very good and I completed the first most wanted. This looks like a more modern one with good arcady physics looking at the gameplay.

https://twitter.com/#!/NeedforSpeed This link has information like this:
Most Wanted will have performance upgrades and how you personalize your roll out is up to you. We'll have more info soon!

Anyway anyone else looking forward to it?

If Criterion Games is behind the wheels im expecting greatness.
Both Burnout: Paradise City & Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit where some kickass games.

Looks good, but a little too plain for my taste so far. One of the reasons I liked the original Most Wanted was that it was pretty much NFS Underground 2 with cop chases, but without the overload of ricer mods. I hope they don't stray too much away from the original street racer theme...

I would agree that Criterion got lazy when porting it to PC (no multiGPU support and no AA), but the graphics were really good for a PC port.

Wouldnt it be great if they made a underground 3... but i suppose this is their equivalent project. It will need to be good, as the original most wanted has been my favourite NFS since it was released.

Is there no customization in this new game?

I seriously dont understand EA at all.

This is just Burnout but with cops.

I hope there is otherwise it'll be another mainstream 5 minute wonder.

But there doesnt look like there is otherwise it should state so. Get rid of all those bloody supercars and bring back our golf gti's, toyota celicas where you had to upgrade to escape and win..

It looks like there isnt. This is truly pathetic...they shouldn't call this Most Wanted at all.

Every NFS after MW was terrible. I really hope this is as good as the original, if not better.

underground2 and MW1 were the peak, everything went downhill from there.

they seem to have forgotten that what made them great is the story, and the environment. Anyone can do good racing. The hard part is making the game 'a good movie that you play', to steal a line from a friend.

I always wanted a need for speed arcade game with in car view, that would be far better.

My favourite NFS game was Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2.
(All other version where poor ports)
No big story there, only racing or busting speeders as a cop.
