How can we help you find graphics drivers if you do not specify your graphics card?

To find out what graphics card you have:
Right-click Desktop --> Properties --> Settings tab --> Advanced --> Adapter tab --> it will say what you have there. -
I have done what you have said and it says that its all unavailabe then it has a tab for properties and a tab for list all modes

Wow, I have that Athalon XP in my desktop which is 4yrs old.
Cool! -
okay....follow these instruction carefully:
1. Click start
2. Right Click My Computer on the grey pane on the right hand side of the start menu.
3. Click properties from the menu that comes up.
4. A new window called "System Properties" will come up. In that window, click the hardware tab at the top.
5. Click Device Manager
6. There should be a little "minus icon" next to "display adaptors". Click that minus symbol.
7. And then tell us what it says under Display Adaptors so we can tell you what to do next.
Hope this helps, Mayz
Once you've found what Graphics Card you have, just type that into google and type drivers on the end. If it's an nVidia/ATI Grpahics card then you can go to their website and then click support/drivers. -

Is there anything there that says "display" anything? It has to be there.
-
No there is no "display" anything I know it should be here, but would it not reconise it if it hasn't had the drivers installed. Also would doing an internet search help find the graphics card in this laptop, surley they would all be the same card for this model im going to try it see if I have some succed
-
Are you sure you have one in your notebook? You might have integrated graphics? Not to be rude or anything, just wondering since you are not able to access any features.
-
I must of had them before as I was running Guild wars before I had to format the hard drive and if I did have intergrated graphics card or whatever it is how would I find out how to access it. Also on the list it seems that my "Video controller (VGA Compatable)" needs reinstalling and have tried to connect to the internet to find it and it wont could this be the root of the problem?
-
Just google your laptop model and you'll find out that way what the graphics card is, at the moment you're probably stuck on vga mode.
-
Even an intigrated controler would show up in the Device Manager.
-
Hi guys I think I have fixed it I went into D and clicked driver and then vga and then setup and I now have an option that says Display Adapters Geforce4 440 (64M) does this mean I know have fixed my problem?

Did you install drivers? If not, you should now be able to follow the graphics card guide to upgrade your card - that's an Nvidia GeForce 440Go. I had one in my old HP.

Try the Xtreme G drivers and see if they are any better. The 84.xx are good.
-
If you have windows xp, go t o the control panel, and on the left hand side of the screen, click classic overview and there should be a icon called "system" then go on the tab called "hardware" and then click on "device manager" and click on display adapter. It should display it.
Anyway, does anyone know a graphic driver for x200m? -
