Hi guys, I have M18x R2 with one 7970m Wimbledon XT, so now I find one 7970m Wimbledon v1.2 G2 from Clevo laptop. I install v1.2 G2 in my laptop like slave card and connect in crossfire. After that I flash v1.2 G2 with my Wimbledon XT vbios and start windows 8. When windows start I go to device manager and see what system see both cards but v1.2 G2 is tell about error code 10, I chek it and code 10 mean what my card cant install driver, I do a lot of manipulation with driver and nothing help, original AMD driver I cant install, after that I again tear down my laptop and chek crossfire (everething fine), and now I take it out all card's and install only one card V1.2 G2 like a primary to chekt it, laptop is boot but screen is black now, how you thins mans that is could be because Wimbledon V1.2 G2 even flash with right Alienware Wimbledon XT vbios could not compability with Alienware m18x or its just is card broke? I guess that is not compability and I don't know a way how fix that(((((

    NEED HELP, hurry!

Should work in the m18x r2. Ideally try out in another laptop that is compatible with clevo card (although the m18x r2 should be ok as well).
Try flashing clevo vbios to the card, you shouldn't be needing AW vbios. But it may just be some kind of obscure compatibility issue even though the card should work (happened to me in m17x r2).
By the way, do you have UEFI bios feature enabled? If not, try enabling it.

Yep, UEFI is enabled, I look now in web for one compability with AW Clevo 7970 vbios.Card in primary mod give me black screen, in slave mode she visible in windows but with error.

So I guess card is defect and have some problem, because Clevo Bios also doesn't work, card still dead, heat sink is hot but no from card side.

Best way I guess sell it to some one else :D

No, the best way is to test it on someone else's machine, or karma will be back to bite you :))
Like I said, I had identical behavior with a 7970m GPU, a dell one in my m17x, and the GPU was perfectly functional in other machines and should have been compatible with mine. Sometimes it just happens.
