    Need Help with RAR Archive.

    So i downloaded TC Hawx demo from file front. I went to go retrieve it in my documents folder and i couldnt look at it because it said is was a RAR archive file. So i did a lilttle research and downloaded WinAce so i could exract the files.

    Needless to say i extracted the files. I installed the game. However everytime i go to open the app it trys to unistall.

    Can anyone help me please??

    http://www.rarlabs.com > use Winrar rather than Winace which is pretty archaic by todays standards :)

    30 days no nag trial, then you get nagged (very little)^

    http://www.7-zip.org/ 7 Zip also opens Winrar files.

    There are a multitude of apps out there, so find the one right for you.

    been using the free 30 day trial for the last year and wont go back to zip

    Winrar is multi-threaded unlike some other archivers.

    7zip can use multiple cores/threads and can handle multivolume RAR archives. I used winrar for years and switched to 7zip.
