I really like playing multiplayer, but sometimes, I don't have an internet connection. So I was wondering if there was any really good first person shooter with bot support.

    Thanks,
    Leon

    Isn't Shadowrun an RPG?

And thanks for the help, guys. Don't know what to get yet.

Shadowrun was remade into an FPS of sorts for the PC and xbox360. It's not very good imo and I loved the rpg version so it makes me especially sad. I loved it for the SNES and almost didn't do reasearch on it and am glad I did because it would've been a waste of money. As far as offline bot combat goes, the battlefield series has always had...decent bots. But these games really are meant for multiplayer online. I love battlefield 2142 and it is a surprisingly scalable game too so it will play well on an older computer but can look really pretty on newer computers. The offline content however is kinda boring so try getting a better connection and going online or go to a friends house and frag away.

Unreal Tournament 2004 or III, bots are good at run-n-gun. Also consider Star Wars: Battlefront II. It is quite fun played in the offline mode.

There is a free one out there called assaultcube. Getting 32 bots in the smallest map with instagib is interesting to play.

i was actually quite impressed with CSS bots, not only do they follow your orders, but they communicate with each other on voicecom; thats more than i can say for the people on pubs where i play ;)

edit: oh yea, and they run with the knife out! deff smarter than the average PubNub

Condition Zero, CSS ... they have inbuilt bots...but u can download new Bots:
PODbots, Zbots... these two are the best for HL MOds.. they dont work for HL2 Mods (CSS)
