Okay so my girlfriend likes playing games on my computer but at the same time she is very picky about what she plays. She usually plays roller coaster tycoon or the sims but recently she has gotten bored of those. She like role playing games more specifically Fable 2. I have been looking for something that she might like to play. I have tried portal as well which I think she would like but she didn't like the computers voice so she stopped playing. If you guys have any ideas please share. Thanks in advance.

My GF logged a lot of hours in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.... there is so much content and stuff to do.
- even more if you get the expansions or just get the "Game of the Year Edition" (which includes the expansions) -
WoW... lol
-
The best Role Playing game she can play is GTA IV or maybe GTA:SA
-
World of Warcraft, especially if you don't want to see her for a few months.
-
-
Guild Wars. It's an excellent adventure role-playing game with lots of exploring to do.
Also, Oblivion seconded. -
Haha yeah her brother plays way to much WoW she isn't into it, I own oblivion and neither of us liked it...I told you she was picky lol
-
-
-
She might like World Of Goo or set her up with an emulator or something lol.
-
SNES emulator + Final Fantasy 6 & Chrono Trigger = problem solved
-
Pretty decent game... good visuals, interesting storyline.
Gameplay is different since its turn-based with an MMORPG twist.
But if she has a Nintendo DS.... many great games on there:
- Chrono Trigger
- Disgaea DS
- Final Fantasy remakes (III and IV)
- Valkyrie Profile
...etc.... -
FO 3
Mass Effect
Jade Empire
KOTOR I & II -
ff 3 and 4 are great as well.
how is disgaea and valkyrie profile compared to the other two? -
um...pokemon?
-
-
Final Fantasy 7, I'm sure there's a pc version still floating around somewhere. One of the best rpg's ever created imo. Great story, great graphics (for it's time, aka ps1), awesome characters, good combat system. Plus a couple of the main characters are chicks.
-
KOTOR seconded.
-
GTA IV Multiplayer
lol
I know some girls who play MP -
Hmm....maybe she would like some sports games if she is into sports.
Also, I'd recommend Neverwinter Nights 2 if she doesn't mind learning some DnD stuff (well on second thought.....)
Mirror's Edge might be decent, but she may be put off by its movement style and such -
-
How about Spore? Many girls love that game, cute
-
Mass Effect
Kotor 1+2
Fallout 3 -
Viva Pinata!
-
My wife likes to play "guess what I'm thinking today". Great game. You get only one guess otherwise I play the game "doghouse" for the rest of the week!
-
-
i know Runescape
-
diablo 2 and sacred
-
Anyhow, if shes really into rpgs, i'd highly recommend:
Oblivion
Neverwinter Nights 2
Kotor 1 & 2
Mass Effect
and the soon to be released Dragon Age : Origins. -
Maybe saying that she likes RPG's would not be correct...the only one she played was Fable II and she loved it...she did try Oblivion which she did not like. Maybe she will like D2 cause we can play together by ourselves. Also I think she might like Mass Effect I haven't played so maybe she'll see me playing it or something.
-
also, have you tried non virtual games? you known.. they can be more... entertaining... -

last time I got a girl hooked on games it didnt turn out to be as great as I thought it would be, there is only room for one video game addict in a relationship -
-
We talking about a game for a girl... I recommend The Sims 2 or Spore assuming she isnt overly fond of violence.
-
I dont know if sci-fi is good or not, but KOTOR 1 and 2 are both rediculously awesome RPGs.
-
some of us already known this but we should all read as an advice for future relationships: How My Wife Ruined GTA IV
How My Wife Ruined GTA IV
very amusing article.

World of Goo >.>
I love that game and my bf complains that I spend more time with it than him lol XD -
my gf is OBSESSED with sims 2...Thats alll she plays, she even bought my old alienware m9700 off me to have a laptop to play it one...I'm getting her sims 3 you should do the same its supposedly a whole new game..
-
As far as regular games go GTA4 hasnt really grabbed me, but Mirror's Edge has (feels more skilful and less pure violence than GTA so may appeal to her)
A -
Bioshock!!
Try it for a creepy, melodramatic, art-deco experience lol
Need a game for the girlfriend
