Okay so my girlfriend likes playing games on my computer but at the same time she is very picky about what she plays. She usually plays roller coaster tycoon or the sims but recently she has gotten bored of those. She like role playing games more specifically Fable 2. I have been looking for something that she might like to play. I have tried portal as well which I think she would like but she didn't like the computers voice so she stopped playing. If you guys have any ideas please share. Thanks in advance.

My GF logged a lot of hours in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.... there is so much content and stuff to do. ;)
    - even more if you get the expansions or just get the "Game of the Year Edition" (which includes the expansions)

Guild Wars. It's an excellent adventure role-playing game with lots of exploring to do.

    Also, Oblivion seconded.

I have got her to try and play Guild Wars she said that she would probably play it when she gets her laptop which may not be for a while, I dont think that she wants to play by herself.

Square-Enix's The Last Remnant recently came out on PC.

Pretty decent game... good visuals, interesting storyline.

Gameplay is different since its turn-based with an MMORPG twist.

But if she has a Nintendo DS.... many great games on there:
    - Chrono Trigger
    - Disgaea DS
    - Final Fantasy remakes (III and IV)
    - Valkyrie Profile
    ...etc....

Final Fantasy 7, I'm sure there's a pc version still floating around somewhere. One of the best rpg's ever created imo. Great story, great graphics (for it's time, aka ps1), awesome characters, good combat system. Plus a couple of the main characters are chicks.

Hmm....maybe she would like some sports games if she is into sports.

Also, I'd recommend Neverwinter Nights 2 if she doesn't mind learning some DnD stuff (well on second thought.....)

Mirror's Edge might be decent, but she may be put off by its movement style and such

Hmm, i had no idea the GTA series was considered rpg lol. I tot it was more down the line of an FPS.

Anyhow, if shes really into rpgs, i'd highly recommend:

    Oblivion
    Neverwinter Nights 2
    Kotor 1 & 2
    Mass Effect
and the soon to be released Dragon Age : Origins.

Maybe saying that she likes RPG's would not be correct...the only one she played was Fable II and she loved it...she did try Oblivion which she did not like. Maybe she will like D2 cause we can play together by ourselves. Also I think she might like Mass Effect I haven't played so maybe she'll see me playing it or something.

I tried Sims and it didnt really grab me, but several of my female friends have introduced me to Second Life - not strictly a game but the mix of conversation and shopping are both very female friendly!

As far as regular games go GTA4 hasnt really grabbed me, but Mirror's Edge has (feels more skilful and less pure violence than GTA so may appeal to her)
