Obviously, I'm intending to kill the processes listed in the task manager, but there are so many and doing it 1-by-1 is a pain. I need those processes for typical use when not gaming so getting rid of them from startup is a no.

So, is there a free program out there where I can create "profiles" and choose which processes to kill, then at the time I want to game I can just press one button to end those tasks?

I know Google brings up some results, but I'd like to see the board's preferences.

AMD created a program called Fusion (not related to the GPU/CPU combo) that will do all that for you, it's also free. I think it works on any system (Intel/AMD/Nvidia).

EDIT: Hehe, nevermind, I tried running it on my laptop (Intel/Nvidia) and it wouldn't start. Looks like even the process closing functionality isn't available unless you have AMD hardware. Makes market sense, but LAME.
