    Hi all:

I ordered a new laptop about 2 weeks ago, and it will arrive this week. I've recently developed an interest in the game Lost Planet, which in my opinion just looks great.

    Here is my setup:

    - Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
    - Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo T7200 (2.0GHz/4MB L2Cache)
    - 17.0" WSXGA+ BrightView Widescreen (1680x1050)
    - 512MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600
    - FREE Upgrade: HP Imprint Finish/Microphone/Webcam
    - 40% off upgrade from 1GB (2 Dimm) to 2GB (2 Dimm)!
    - 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    - FREE Upgrade - LightScribe DVD+/-RW w/Double Layer
    - Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network w/Bluetooth
    - No TV Tuner w/remote control
    - High Capacity 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

Of course, at first I noticed my graphics card does not support DX10, so playing Lost Planet on Vista is a no. I do have a copy of XP, so i think i'm gonna either dual boot, playing most games on XP, or just whipe vista for the time being and use xp. What do you think i should do?

Also, concerning the performance of Lost Planet on XP/dx9. How smoothly will my setup run the game?

    Thanks in advance :)
