    Need for speed 2 laggy

    i just recently bought:
    toshiba m30x
    ati radeon 9700 128mb
    512mb ram
    1.6ghz centrino

    well when i play need for speed 2 underground with all the settings turned up it's very laggy. does that mean my graphics card can't run it? do i need more ram? or better drivers? any help thanks

    Those figures you have there shouldn't be a problem for NFSU at all. And correction it doesn't have 128MB of VRAM, just 64MB. More likely the problem should be with hard drive since it is a 4200RPM, and or the settings you set the video is all on quality rather then performance. Try to play around with the settings and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, put in a 7200RPM harddrive and try that.

    Fujitsu S6210: PentiumM 1.6Ghz 1GB DDR333 RAM 7K60 Hard Drive DVD RW Drive... What more do I need for this thing?

    Hmm go figure. Just looked at the Toshiba website and it said 64MB, but who knows.

    Fujitsu S6210: PentiumM 1.6Ghz 1GB DDR333 RAM 7K60 Hard Drive DVD RW Drive... What more do I need for this thing?

    it was actually on there about 2 weeks ago then it was taken off.
