I downloaded the 600+mb demo for NFS carbon. But it doesnt work, it gets up to the EA Sports screen then it goes to this error message. Anyone have the same experience? OR doesnt anyone know what to do? THanks a lot!

Need for Speed Carbon is known for crashing in Vista, I believe. There was a patch released, but I'm not sure if it works for the demo.

It is most probably Vista compatibility issues causing the problem. Try your best to search for the patch that odin is talking about or search google for people who had the same problem. Google has solved many game relating problems for me.

there is a patch but im not sure if it works for the demo, but the easiest solution is to go into the carbon file in program files and delete or rename the folder called movies

I had same problem. Start it in Win98 (or 95 can't remember) compatibility mode. Worked for me
