I have been pretty happy with the NFS franchise since Underground came out.
I also don't seem to hate Prostreet as much as other people. I mean, if you are all about the free roam/cop chases then it is not for you. But if anyone says the cars can't steer then they haven't done enough tuning.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 w/ 1GB and I'm getting 23 FPS on high settings. I was expecting something better.

On the other hand I just realise I can run undercover on high settings (no shadows) at 1680x1050 with 2xAA with 35+ average fps no lag at all... -

Cops chases could be fun, but they feel very easy for me. if they only could reduce the annoying HDR a little bit
-
Yea but the cops get harder (more annoying, harder to escape from) when your heat level gets high enough. For example if you get caught off guard (hits something and your car slowed down than all the cops chasing you will all try to bang your car and box you in...>_<
By the way if you set the "world effects" to low than all the blur and HDR would be gone. But it looks even worse without the blur imo. >_< -
yeah thats true
thats why i dont want to set it to low, you lose the blur

NFS Undercover - Rabbids version

I am surprised how bad the AI is. I can outrun a SLR McLaren with my stock Audi TT. I still like the game though, the graphics aren't that bad and although HDR can get annoying, I don't pay much attention to it when racing or running from cops. Speaking of cops, they seem to be able to cach up to you extremely fast in high heat levels.

The last Need for Speed I liked was Hot Pursuit 2. And even that wasn't that great.

Is the storyline with all the in-game scenes (videos, etc.) and stuff exactly the same as the story for Next-Gen consoles (360 and PS3)? Or did they simplify them down?
I'm choosing to either get it on the PC or the PSP, but I heard the PSP version's storyline is "watered-down" to text messages which would be boring as hell. Plus, on the PSP there's no free-roam, whereas the PC version does, and both are in about the same price range...
Also, just wanted to know if it would work smoothly on my notebook (Dell XPS M1530)...specs are NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT, 3GB RAM, T9300 2.5GHz Core Duo...
I've played many FPS and RPG games, but this is the first racing game I might try out...
Thanks... -
So far looks like Most Wanted and Pro Street mixed together...
Better graphics, more detailed textures, very detailed environments, bumpy roads, smarter AI, but more arcade than ever...
I did just now one mission about delivering a Bugatti Veyron somehere, and I was on the highway at 360Km/h when a police SUV pass in from of me... W T F? A SUV faster than one Bugatti? I want that SUV...
BTW here is one printscreen of the car that I´m using now(911 GT2):

they need to fix this issue, in the update, and they also need to fix some other things, like the HDR. -

I like to playing Need for speed undercover. The game just keeps getting better. I must say, however, I don't actually play that much overall. Less then 5-6 hours a week . Can't wait for classes to be over in a few weeks. I think it is a fabulous game. Every one should play this game.
