    Hey everybode,

Seems I'm getting old and slow and I need a slower paced/shorter session game. I'm primarily looking for strategy, turn-based, or arcade games and it would be cool if they were online/multiplayer. Anyone there is a newer version of imperialism 2? Or if there is something like starscape?

Games I've liked are starcraft, warcraft 3, diablo 2, heroes of might and magic 3, etc... side-scrollers are fun too.

take a look at the HoI series and the other paradox games.

multiplayer is generally limited to pre organised matches that are a weekly event. but single player practice is necessary and to start off with, you will be limited to a minor country.

If you let it be, World of Warcraft can be a slow-paced game. Just take your time when doing stuff.
    Age of Empires II
    Age of Mythology

You may like, Mythos, Hellgate London or Elder Scroll Series: Morrowind and Oblivion if you liked Diablo 2. But these are RPG's. Mythos, is made by the same people who made Diablo (look almost exactly like it too). This game is by beta invitation only, but there not hard to find.

Since you liked Diablo 2, I have to recommened Oblivion just like the poster above me. It's the closest game I've found that recreates the Diablo 2 experience.

I think you will love it when you first play it. Combine your install with some of the popular mods like Qarl's Texture Pack and some other big names, it will be one hell of a game.

    What constitutes "old and slow"?

    - Company of Heroes is a great RTS game that doesn't require twitch reflexes just good tactics.
    - Galactic Civilizations 2 is a fun turn based strategy game
    - Oblivioin would be fun too depending on your PC config, it has fairly steep requirements graphically, but if you have a 7600 or better GPU you should be fine.
    - Battlefield 2 is a great online shooter, and doesn't require lightning quick reflexes, just some good sense and use of ammunition. Playing as a sniper is more patience and smooth mouse movement, or special ops to blow up the enemies' UAV or Satellite Trailers or their artillery.

Try World in Conflict, Fable, Universe at War and you could play some other FPS
