Hi, I'd like to try and get a good laptop that can handle games pretty well.

The games in questions would be Dragon Age 1&2, Mass Effect 1&2 (possibly 3 when it comes out), The Witcher 1&2 and some other games like GunZ 1&2.

To be honest, I don't have that high of a budget. 800$ would be preferable but could maybe get higher.

I don't need to run the games at full specs, I'm not a graphic and I prefer a good framerate than amazingly beautiful graphics.

I'd also prefer a new one to a used one and I'd most likely get a mouse for it so trackpad doesn't have to be excellent.

Thank you very much for the help.

That's the thing, I'm not really interested in a notebook. Or do they also help with laptops? In which case, I will gladly post there instead.

Yeah, with that budget and an interest in The Witcher 2 (a very resource-hungry game), a HP Pavilion dv6 or dv7 with a 6750M or a 6770M is the way to go.
