    I'm looking for a shiny new laptop, the GPU options that I have available to me are:

    13.3" --> 8400M G 128MB
    14" --> 7600 Go, 256MB or 7700 Go 512MB
    15.4" --> 8600GT 512MB, x1600 256MB

    I'm wondering what they crank out for heat and how much power they all consume.

    I'm curious to know the difference between the 8600GT/7600/7700/x1600. I'm looking at the 7600/7700/x1600 because while they may not be the top of the line but as I read the technical specs, they're an improvement over my i9300 with it's 6800 Go and I only need to run Eve online so not much graphic power requirement.

    THE 15.4" one is great, the 8600 and 8400 are the new nVIDIA graphics cards out, w/ direct X 10, of course the 8600M is better and the 7600 is a little older and less power same to the 7700. The 8600 is supposed to take low voltage, ive heard and not too much heat ether. The 15.4" w/ 8600M GT is best!

    I don't see anything there about heat output or power consumption.

    "A bit less power used" isn't a good description of anything.
    I guess I wasn't really specific enough.

    I'm looking for exothermic output and wattage consumption at load.
