I purchased a Clevo D901C under the assumption that it was MXM 3.0

Obviously I feel like a bit of an idiot as it only supports MXM 2.1! There are some interesting options if i can find the hardware though.

I've been trying to find either 2 of the IBM version of the Quadro FX 3700m or a GTX280M. The plan being to flash them to work with SLI (should be an interesting project.)

I don't really know where to look and could really use some help.

Also curious if they made a MXM 2.1 version of the Radeon HD 4870M that wasn't somewhat proprietary.

    hi
what part of the world are you from. this will narrow it down a bit.

we have a market place on here but im not sure if you need a minimum number of posts before you can post or view it NBR Marketplace

the 280gtx are about 3-4 years old now so might be difficult to find. you might be lucky but might in the hand have to buy second hand which can be a risk.
