    Need help with an error message!

    Hi everyone,

    I just downloaded Call of Duty: World at War from Steam on my laptop, and when I try to play it I get the following error message:

    couldn't load image '~fx_shell_spc-rgb&fx_shell_cos-I-11'

    Just paid £20 for it so really need help!

    Note: my laptop specs are:
    - Intel i7-3632QM
    - 8GB RAM
    - Intel HD 4000 graphics

    Couldn't hurt to get the latest HD4000 driver from Intel as well.

    I dunno if that intel video card can run that game? Do u have another gpu?

    Hi guys, problem solved. I had to verify to game files via the Steam game library. After they failed to verify, it re downloaded some files and it worked.

    My graphics cards runs the game pretty well! can run medium settings very smoothly.
