Hey all (especially Chazman and Ikovac),

I have seen a lot of threads of you guys about the x700 mobility. Now I have a few questions:

I can't measure the GPU temp. with Ati Tray tools. Yes, I have gone to everest and I have searched for sensors but I only find that of CPU and HD.
Can you guys please help me. I also use Mobmeter but that only shows me 2 temps.

With Everest my CPU temp stays always at 24 degrees. I guess this is impossible, but Mobmeter sais 51 max (after 1 hour playing). Is that my CPU temp or case temp?

Please help me guys, because I am planning to overclock from 351/297 to 358/312.

    351/297 to 358/312

with that overclock you won't see any improvement.

    Hi Hitman. :)

I'm in the same boat - I cannot see the GPU temperatures either, and I have tried pretty much everything. Everest, ATT, and PC Wizard. I think that some GPU's just can't be monitored.

Yeah - you won't see any performance increase with that overclock. Check out some of the overclocking threads in here, you'll see what other people are overclocking to.

    Cheers

well with ATT, I can't see the GPU temperatues also, but the Mobile Meter shows the Frequency, Temperature 1, Temperature 2, Temperature 3, Charge Rate and HDD #0 temperature.

I am 100% sure that temperature 1 and 2 are CPU and motherboard and pretty sure that temperature 3 ist the GPU.

Will run some graphic intensive tests to prove it right.

    Regards, VidKo

Starting the Bench in ATT, temperature 3 jumped from 44 to 68 in 10 seconds. I am sure it is the GPU.

It is funny ATT can't find the sensor. Will contact Ray Adams and ask for advice.

Thank you very very much for the rapid replies guys!

Chazman, I saw your great posts about overclocking etc. I thought you also had the temperatures, but I guess that was Ikovac.

Vidkoc, I wonder if you have a x700 too? How did you get those temps? I also use Mobmeter but I have 3 graphs: 1 CPU, 1 temperature (dont know what it is, gets 51 max after 2 hours gaming), 1 HD (41 max)

    Thank you ver much,

    Hitman

Yeah, I don't get any of those temps - MobileMeter only measures the CPU temp.

My hard drive is not measured by MobileMeter either, I'm pretty sure it is because I have a Serial ATA hard drive. Everest and HDTune measure it though.

    Hi hitman,

Somehow I missed the whole thread, but I guess we resolved all through PM? I also can see GPU, ambient GPU, CPU and HD temps in Everest. ATT nothing. And Chaz, Vidko and others told you all. :)

    Cheers,
