I'm looking for an on-screen display solution for my gaming tutorial videos. There are already some apps that display an overlay with the name of the key you're pressing, but in a game with very fast controls and not many keys those are far from idea. I'd like to have some virtual-keyboard-like (but with only a few keys which are mapped in the game) where each virtual key has its own position and stays (partly) transparent by default and become highlighted when the corresponding key is pressed. It would be better if joystick axis position data can be shown as well.

Is there anything like that available? I prefer a fullscreen solution if possible but can live with windowed.

Sorry, that was not my screenshot. I simply got a random one from Google.
