I'm currently at a complete standstill of games to play. I was playing oblivion but it kept crashing on my randomly, and also had horrible performance in windows 7 rc. So i stopped it. I found my old disc and reinstalled it then got my mods which used to work perfectly on windows xp and tried it out but it stopped working so i said oh well. Anyway i'm looking for suggestions of games to play.

Any RPG/RTS/Puzzle game is greatly appreciated. Just really bored with games atm and looking for a new one to play. Infinite Undiscovery's putting a sour taste in my mouth with the extreme difficulty on normal mode.

Hmm... you could try Plants vs. Zombies, or World of Goo (see links). They're more geared to be on the funny, whimsical side, but they are a blast to play nontheless.

Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium wars
    Command and Conquer 3:Kanes Wrath
Command and Conquer Red Alert 3
    Sins of a Solar Empire
    Supreme Commander
    Supreme Commander FA

Those are all RTS games though the only RPG games I can think of are Fallout 3 and Oblivion

Portal; brilliant and unique but rather short game. Also give KotOR a try if you haven't already.

Hopefully they all look good. :p it's end of sememster so i need to have something ready to reward myself for the hard work this school year and i figure buying a couple good games'll be reward enough.

Crysis is a first person shooter game (FPS).

I would recommend Trine, its simple and fun game. If you have an Nvidia card with a PhysX chip, it will take advantage of it.

Also, give Planescape: Torment a try. Quite possibly one of the best written RPGs you are likely to encounter.

Another game I'd highly recommend is System Shock. I know it doesn't fit any genre you requested, but it is good enough to warrant at least giving it a trial run.

Some features taken away (no arena and smelters) and some new features included (mounted minions), the humour is still there from the little I've played so far.

Thats good about the humor, this was a very funny game. I saw one of the "scenes" In overlord 2 and it looked interesting :)

Well at the time all i had was a Compaq presario m2301NR(i think that's the exact model number not sure anymore) What i do remember is it had a 1.5Ghz single core cpu, 1GB of ram (upgraded it to that), and a ATI Xpress 200m gpu. 300Mhz clock for the whatever it was. No vram for it, it took it from system ram. No way could i play it on pc so i tried it on 360. It was horrible. I got stuck on the part where you have to shoot a portal into the little square area and on the platform in the middle of the water filled room. Then keep trying to go up and up through the 3 platforms then you had to somehow shoot one onto the diaganol one and then get shot across teh level. One time i got up there but never was able to again and never went back to it. Also i'll look into the suggestions i've seen so far.

Thus far it seems The Withcer Enhanced, Command and conquer 3, overlord 2, gonna retry portal, and the rest iv'e seen on here i'll look at after those.

Give RA3 a try, I liked it a bit more than CnC3, in part due to it's smaller scale so depends on your tastes I guess

Oblivion is the current RPG I'm playing and it's pretty fun, it sucks that it broke on your machine :(

Overlord 2 is pretty fun but I got stuck at a few points but that's just me (need new brain :( )

Just to say this much i really don't like the withcher's control scheme. I selected keyboard+mouse. And it's forcing me to hold my mouse over the person to be able to attack them. I care not for that kind of attacks. I like to aim and attack with a key. There seems to be no way to fix this obvious annoyance. And since there is not... i doubt i'll ever get through it. Sad really since the storytelling so far is amazing but teh controls are driving me insane.
