Ok, well I think im going to buy a Dell 1505. I'm not sure on what parts to get. I am gonna keep it around $900 so all the help would be appreciated. Basically what im gonna be doing is gaming on it and I want to be able to play BF2 and BF2142. I'm not too big on it being really graphical because I have a really nice desktop that I play on as well. I might be upgrading to vista soon if there really will be a nice speed boost, but im not too sure yet. So basically im asking if I will be able to play BF2 and 2142 with that laptop and should I upgrade the RAM to 2GB's or upgrade the HDD to 7200RPM and I CAN'T do both. Also, how much difference is there between the Intel® Core™ Duo T2250 (1.73GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB) and the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200 (1.6GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB).

    Laptop Specs:

    CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5200 (1.6GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)
RAM: 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm
HDD: 80GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
    GPU: 256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™

If gaming is high on your list, go for something with an x1600/GF7600 minimum, the x1400 will struggle with current high end titles, and its only downhill from there on out. Right now vista is a no no for serious gaming, give it six months to a year, possibly longer.

I can't really find something with those cards. I wanted to keep it around that price because im probably just gonna buy another when I have too. The way technology is moving I don't want to waste my money. Also, I found some RAM on newegg for like $70. Does the the E1505 have 2 x 512 sticks or 1 x 1GB stick. Also, do I have to used specific RAM with this laptop. Finally, if I upgrade to the 2GB's will I be able to play BF2 with ease? I spend most of my time playing EVE Online anyway so thats what I REALLY wanted the laptop for.
