After really getting into Fallout 3, I wanted to check out Fallout 1 & 2, so started searching for a legit place to get it.

Came across GOG "Good Old Games", pretty nice site, with a complete DRM free library of classic games, with reasonable prices. :D Scooped up Fallout for $5.99.

Fallout came with a PDF manual, a guide, soundtrack, wallpapers, and avatars.

It's great for netbook users, for gaming in between email and internet. Not sure if its really well known, but it was new to me :D

    Check it out.

Looks good, the old ABE games were pretty fun. When are games like Tomb Raider 1/2 and Final Fantasy 6/7/8 going to be added to sites like this and made compatible with xp/vista?! Although FF7 & 8 are still raking in huge amounts of money for resellers so probably not any time soon :(

    Fallout 1 & 2 were awesome.

"Wow! I feel as if I passed some arbitrary numerical level and thus gained some abilities!" -- message from Marcus when he levels up... hilarious (just one example of Fallout's brilliant humor)

what I'd really wanted would be a revamped version of Terra Nova. Longbow 2 and Crusader: no Remorse and no Regret. Unfortunately they don't offer any of those. :(

They're constantly updating their library, so you never know what'll show up.

I remember really liking the demo of Terra Nova.

I like Gog because all of the games I got from them did not need to have the internet connected or extra software running in the background to make them work. I have also seen people in the forum make suggestions / requests of games they would like to see on Gog.
