Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition - GOG.com

    $9.99 US

Wow. I remember that game. I was never a huge fan of Diablo but this game for some reason I found fun. I may have to buy it and play it again to see if it kept its magic. :D

Great deal for someone who hasn't played the series. Completely different type of game from Diablo. Strategic, turn based vs real time click-click.

I never played it but know it was very popular due to its highly active mod community.

The fact that this is considered an "old" game makes ME feel old..

    Still, good game!

If you don't own the game and love D&D 3rd edition, you owe it to yourself to get the collection. Last year thereabouts Bioware released their final patch for the game, long after the game had stopped retailing on store shelves at full price. That alone says a lot about the community and the amount of content to be had in the game.

It's "old" by computer game standards, but it was originally released in 2002 which isn't that old, and diamond edition was released in 2005. There's still lots of games that I still go back to from the 1990's and early 2000's. Thankfully many of the "greats" have had significant mods to help keep it somewhat current graphically.

I loved NWN, it was my first "modern" rpg game with D&D rule set that I actually enjoyed, this is actually quite fortuitous as I've had an itching for an old'ish rpg, I was leaning towards morrowind but i played morrowind more recently than NWN
