Haven't posted here in a while

I've had my notebook for almost a year but I've only got 2 games: css and oblivion. What other games would you guys recommend that are good? I've been meaning to get stalker but I prefer a game that I can just jump in, play and get out rather than mill around trying to get the next weapon up, even so, I am very partial to Final Fantasy :). Has emulation software (PCSX2?) reached the point where I can play FFXII smoothly? Halo 2 has been on my cards for a long time-requiring Vista is an annoying obstacle however. Any experiences?

    I'm open to suggestions.

Pro Evo if you into it? Also F.E.A.R. £7 here and expansion £8 here. But yes, alas I do not have enough time for games. I got to the 4th 'chapter' in F.E.A.R and haven't touched it for 2 months. Haven't even begun a game on Oblivion! Maybe summer hols ;)

Sorry man can't stand Pro Evo because a) it really pi**** me off and b) I'd rather play footie in real life :). I saw a copy of FEAR for like £5 in CEX a while ago but from the reviews I read, it gets a bit repetitive. I still might get it though, have to upgrade my HDD first however. Any more suggestions would be great

The multiplayer part of F.E.A.R. is free. It's definitely great fun, very intense and fast paced shooting. Very different from CS:S. You can download it here: http://www.joinfear.com

I remember downloading FEAR multiplayer soon after getting my notebook and thinking not so highly of it, being completely new to PC gaming. I have to give it another go though, see if my css 'training' has made me any better

If you've not tried PES 6 and only 5, they got rid of the stupidly strict refs. In fact, they let a lot go! A shoulder barge or two is fair game! If you lose, you really can only blame yourself, although free kicks are harder to score from and the a.i become speedy gonzales and can catch up with you

Fair dues if you prefer playing it in real life though
