wow.. nice! it looks like movie CG quality.

I hope they have some brighter stuff also though, If I'm gunna be running this test to benchmark my hardware, I dont really want to see just dark stuff all the time though. Like a realistic log cabin in a snowy forest, getting raided by the FBI or something, idk just not so many dark scenes.

I would like to see a scene similar to COD4 in a helicopter flying around the battlefield. :D

Yep, since DX10 is only Vista atm you can't test your DX10 card on a XP. ; (

Well I've heard plenly of rumours it will offically come to XP at some point.
Right now there are some modified versions out there, I haven't tested any of them yet.

But bleh .. Vista isn't worth the upgrade just right now. : P

I just wanna know what the DX10.1 implementation will be in it, and whether it will have that hard barrier between HD3K and HD2K as if it were a GF8?

As for DX10 on XP, it's possible, but not likely. The effort required to modify it would be better spent elsewhere IMO. Of course if there's enough vocal gamers out there it might happen since the biggest barriers were made optional and moved to DX10.1 thanks in part to nV. However as such DX10.1 will be Vista only, non-optional now.

Considering this is a *GAMING* benchmark I am really surprised they make it Vista only. XP is and will be the gaming platform of choice for at least another year or so.

I plan on sticking with XP until Windows 7 if I can help it.
