    Thanks for the update. ATI hasn't released the Catalyst Mobility 7.3 drivers yet unfortunately, we just need to play the waiting game for now. The 7.2 drivers seem to provide good performance from what I have seen.

    Yes, the 7.3 lacks support for them. The 7.2 is the latest that also has support for Mobility Radeon.

    I heard rumours that ati won't be posting mobility drivers on their site anymore because OEMs are complaining that users call in with driver problems that they don't know how to fix.

    Interesting rumours about ati and original OEM customer service.
    But in my case - hp original drivers were completely useless at anything except Windows. If I had called them they would be hopeless because I would have asked them questions about their drivers that they cannot answer anyway. Driver issues are very hard to fix, and usually the producer of the drivers is the best solution. SO I hope that ATI continues with the monthly releases.

    actually, there are 7.3 drivers for mobile radeons, but only for XP. unfortunately not for vista yet :(
