The new version of ATI Catalyst 8.10 drivers have been released some hours ago.
I've patched them using DH Modder.NET. Now they can be installed on a laptops.

I've tested them on my Acer TM5520G laptop with Windows XP 32-bit. It works very well.

    Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry for my English ;)

Hate to ask this but can they work on older chipsets like the 9000/9100 IGP?

ATI dropped support for really old cards a while ago. They might install but you won't get any improved performances.

I know but I was hoping that maybe someone will alter them like Omega Drivers. Sigh, just a dream :(

Yup. I just installed 8.10 on my HP dv4-1155se with Radeon 3200.

BTW, *nice* notebook so far. Just got it. Best Buy has it on sale for the rest of the week. It's unusual to find a retail HP notebook with nearly all the upgrades installed, even Bluetooth.
