    New Alien Game - Alien Isolation

    I guess they keep on trying, this time around it's a survival horror game. We all know what flop Colonial Marines was, let's hope this one is much better. Looks kind of like an Amnesia type game. It's called Alien: Isolation. They even bring back the cast of the original Alien movie in a DLC.

    Oh my, that tracker whatchanajig is incredibly big, takes up like 1/3 of the screen space. Once I saw that scary FOV I crapped my pants!

    That's the same video I posted in the first post. :)

    I enjoyed Doom 3 because of the scare aspect, and played it at night in the dark and what made it most engaging was the audio. Simply perfect and kept you in suspense. I hope they do as good of a job as Doom 3 did with the audio. Those baby cries and bloody footprints that appeared out of the blue in Doom 3 sent me over the edge though.

    From what I've read in EDGE, it seems that will be a good game; more than that, the game will preserve the look and style of the original Ridley Scott's Alien.

    I know, it's not like the cockpit gauges that take up 90% of the screen like you're used to.

    Thanks for bringing this to my attention I had not heard of it yet until now. It looks great and I'll likely buy it.

    That said, i enjoyed ACM :D I don't watch much for preview vids, wouldn't remember details of them anyway, and never have any expectations other than to enjoy the game I am going to play.
