Like Vicious said, maybe start Medic class with a sniper rifle, or whatever you wish.

 

I would like assault rifles on my medic hehehehe.

Of course i wouldnt use it just want to try it. I am already nearing getting a PLATINUM for the SAW and now am runnning out of usable weapons for Medic aside from the MG3 with poor stats.

Anyone else getting performance drop?? What is this? Nerfing people with high-end machines?

 

Actually when I updated, I noticed that the fps on my single player game had dropped a bit from before the patch. I immediately blamed the patch as that was the only thing I had changed. It was a slight drop, but noticeable. I wonder if they actually did change some things under the hood, or maybe forgot to re-optimize the things they changed for PC, idk? lol.

 

Fix one thing, break ten. First law of game patches.

no probs mate i wondered where you went...lol, i haven't really had any issues with this game pre-patch or post-patch, the game feels slightly more balanced now in my opinion..........im generally happy with things, its strange though that when ever i try to join Ovreagr's game it says game not found try another...hmmm

 

Add the BC2 directory in your documents to your AV exclusion list, that fixed the lagging and spawn delay for me.

Also, finally got the Flag Defender Pin... it says you have to defend 4 flags, but I got it after getting 6 Defend messages...

also no more lagging before you spawn

 

I stabbed so many people last night and it didnt register, its like my knife is now made out of nerf material.

But they seem to have no issues knifing me.

 

I realized that snipers are still too dirty for my knife. I use my repair tool and drill their guts now.

ROFL, enemies guns don't register hits on him, but the drill registers hits on them. That's hilarious.

From that video I have learned repair gun > SMG and Assault Rifle and Shotgun and Pistol.

Also learned repair gun to crotch and butt does more damage than being blasted in the face by shotgun. Good to know.

Maybe DICE should see how hit registers with the repair gun and apply that to Assault, Shotgun, Pistol, SMG and Sniper rifles?

Hey NBRers, I'm at a loss as what to do and need some help
I updated BC2 to the new version on Thursday and played it with no problems for a few hrs. Then Friday night every time I tried to join a multiplayer server my G73 froze up. It happened a few times so I uninstalled the leaked 10.6 ati drivers (by the way they were great, super quick load times on BC2 and very stable GPU temps)thinking maybe that was it, nope still freezes with the official 10.3's. I thought maybe the game itself had issues with servers not updated yet?? So I waited to tonight to try again and same thing freezes up. Any solutions?

 

I remembered the Creative software issue some G73's were having and just uninstalled them and ran BC2 again.....problem solved. Didnt think that was the cause since I had them on Thursday when i played and all was good. Oh well, another G73 with a useless subwoofer. Good news I'm back in BC2!!

 

Yeah, I ditched Creative a while ago. Not on my laptop but desktop even, kept causing lockups and crashes.

I'm with ya. I had tons of trouble tonight. People killing me with a SPAS-12 from like 100 yards away, but for me, I couldn't kill a mouse with it. Shooting people in the back of the head with a pistol five times and only depleted 50% health. HUH?

Albeit one server had one side full of 30+ ranks and the other side (mine) was mainly noobs (less than 20, probably half less than 10). I think they also need to balance the server based on rank too.

 

OMG THE performance is like #!%@#$%@$# now. WTH did DICE do?? Were they on crack???

i personally don't have any problems with the game, but i only play on servers with 100 ping or less i don't know if that has anything to do with it. also the game only pauses for half a sec for me when i respawn

 

Adding the exception to my AV helped some, but it still feels sluggish. Every time I run it feels like some force is pushing back. At least I can play again though.
