I will give a try. I just don't want this driver lead my GPU to high temperature.

I'll do some benchmarks in a bit, and post my max/idle temperatures.

Just gave these a go. These work very well with crysis and resident evil 5. They gave me an average of 3 fps more than i was getting with my previous drivers, 187.62. Which in Crysis is a 10% increase in performance. Not bad.

I would recommend them for a 260M GTX.

How will this work with the ASUS G72? I know ASUS releases their own drivers for the PC.

Ok, so I've done benchmarking using Unigine Tropics and the new Unigine Heaven demos.

    Here are the results:

Doesn't look any different from these results.

I'll do some more testing using real games to test.

I hope it will be better than the almightly forceware v186.82.
Will this 195.XX Notebook Driver include all the highlights from the 19X.XX Desktop Drivers?

186.82 is better than 195.xx as from my experience.

Well, I tested 186.82 vs 195.XX just now.
The result shows 186.82 are superior than 195.XX for my Laptop.
195.XX have the same performance as 186.81 only. Sad. I just hate Nvidia's website release. Basically, they're lame. LaptopVideo2Go do offer better Nvidia Driver(186.82, 186.42) download.

Sadly, NVIDIA failed to include the 280M GTX DeviceID in the driver INFs. They included the M17x's 260M and 9400M G devices but not the 280.

Using the LV2Go modded INF allows the driver to be installed but a black screen with only the mouse visible is the end result.

Don't feel like messing with it so its back to the 'best so far' - 186.82. :)

That seems like quite a screw-up on Nvidia's part.

Maybe if it was left out on purpose, it was because the driver didn't play nicely with the GPU?

According to what I have read in LV2G website, some claim that this Beta Notebook Forceware is not very stable. It said even the Nvidia Website have once disable the download to the public but lately, it re-open for download again.
I think Nvidia should build the newer forceware using the KEY of 186.82(186.81 works suck for me).

They already took down the 195.39 driver once on the 30th October, and brought it back up on 31st.
I'm seeing rather higher temperatures with this driver (idling about 50-52 just web browsing). Back to the 186 series then!
