Just checked today and they are out. Supposedly they decrease power consumption by a great deal (for the x2 model anyways). Vista 32bit Link to standard page: http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

Wish they would fix crossfire for Crysis already ... I want to see 60fps in veryhigh.

That would be nice, it's too bad though that Crysis is horrible on ATI systems (yet they still manage to keep up).

Stock my 3DMark06 score is 3,602, since I updated to 8.8 it is now 3,671. Not a big improvement but still, it is an improvement.

I have had so much trouble with ATI and changing the drivers I am not updating until I see a fix that I need. If it aint broke dont fix it

my desktop dual 4850's
It would go higher to if I had better cooling for them and could OC my cpu higher. Right now for a higher 3dmark06 score my cpu needs to be faster as its holding the cards back. -
Ah. For a second I thought it was the Asus laptop in your sig.

Na it only gets like 6000 lower than I expected but the 9700gt is only a "mid range card" the 9700gts is a big jump and the 9800 is a much bigger jump but it gets the job done, and when I find something to overclock it with I think 7k is within reach.
