"NVIDIA is thrilled to see gamers having the opportunity to play Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. At launch, the current Game Ready driver (378.66) has complete support for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and offers an exceptional gaming experience. Later this week, we’ll be releasing a new Game Ready driver which will introduce Ansel support for Ghost Recon Wildlands as well as some other surprises for gamers." - https://forums.geforce.com/default/...ost-recon-wildlands-game-ready-driver-update/

Other surprises like a new hotfix? Surprises like it will wipe my hard drive? Surprises like my display will explode?

they are a little late for the game ready driver. More like game-not-so-damn ready driver for ghost recon.

I won't swear it was the drivers fault, BUT I had just put in my newest Titan XP. I had wiped the drivers with DDU (like always), and was installing 378.66 WHQL driver, everything looked like it installed-went to restart my PC the screen came on and wavered then everything went BLACK FOR GOOD. I got an unsolvable Q code and the MB would not POST. I had lights, fans but no POST. Luckily, the MB was under warranty. I had another MB on hand and I swapped out the dead MB and all my components worked (WHEW), this time I used 378.72 (HOT FIX). Moral of the story stick to what you have. WHQL, does not mean quality any more (for a long time now actually). So, I will probably pass on the next WHQL poison pill, and look for the HOT FIX.

Who changed the thread title? 378.66 is not the driver I was talking about nor will be coming out this week since it has been out.

I RMA'd it back to ASUS and they sent me a new one. Something must have really gone wrong for them to send a new one.

To original poster sorry if my message somehow derailed your thread.
