    i used this website alot before i bought my laptop (very helpful)
    i ended up buying an hp with go 7400 256 mb, 1 gb ram,
    my question is it got the 1.6 intel duo

    when i run the system requirements test for new games like battle for middle earth 2, it says i pass but for the recommened i dont because of the cpu speed (mine 2.39 recommened 3), just wanted to know if i would be able to run the graphics on high setting if i get the game.

    You'll be fine, those online system requirements tests (andthe manufacturers blurb for that matter) don't take into account the fact that CPU performance is not based primarily on pure clock speed.
