    Hello...

I got a guestion, i want to buy a laptop in september, and i'm collecting like 500 euro's per month to buy the best of the best in September 2014. But my question is, what are the new GPU for mobile devices a.k.a notebooks/game laptops/Dekstop replacement, and i mean Extreme High-End for 2014? Is there a site to check mobile graphic card news? For what is planning and what is coming? I hear it from you guys!

Probably GTX 880M will be the card.

Whenever NVIDIA decides to release it. No one knows.

Given that people have started getting their hands on the 880M, I doubt it'll be the reigning champion for the whole of 2014. There should be a successor to it before Sept.

I doubt that. The only thing that would sway me to agree with you would be the fact that the 880M is not Maxwell. It would then make sense that they may release another GPU at the end of the year.

The same thing happens every year with GPU's. People in other parts of the world acquire them first. There is nothing to suggest there will be two releases this year.

They usually come out during the second quarter of the year.

Well here's a source that I like to read: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M is rebranded GTX 780M, has 8GB memory | VideoCardz.com BTW the source cited there is a post right here on this forum :D

It's too early into the year to blow their real load. What's NVIDIA gonna do when Broadwell gets released? Rebrand 880M yet again? On the other hand, not releasing new cards upon a CPU refresh is a big no-no from the business standpoint..

Broadwell with Iris 6000 series? Maybe they will offer better gaming performance, implying Intel hires better driver development staff.

Broadwell is irrelevant, when you have absolutely no chips left to translate into mobile GPUs, and 20nm is slipping until the end of the year. Nvidia wouldn't be rebranding the 780M in Q1, if they had imminent technological advancements. It's a move which shows they're ready to dig in for the long wait.

I wouldn't expect new GTX cards until 20nm.

Assuming that is true, everything is going to either be delayed or re-branded for this year. This is news to me.

I've been reading up on this and found several articles supporting the fact that Broadwell will only be slightly delayed. Mass production has already begun.

It's not that we don't "like" them, it's that they haven't released anything for us to like.

There's no info whatsoever. Not even rumors.

Maybe they are too busy with PS4/XO?
