    Liking they're doing something with the games but im not digging the design of the games at all. The new backdrops for the original are nice but characters look terrible specially their hair. Not seen much of the new game but if its anything like 4 i won't be happy.

    check out the Video section on the Lucas Arts link to see how they revamped the original. You can toggle in-game between the new version and the old. the built on top of the existing game code.

    According to Joystiq It will be released July 15th on XBLA and Steam. I'm truly excited for this release as I have very fond memories of this game from my childhood. I still haven't decided which platform to get it for (probably the that's cheaper )

    Awesome! I've been using an avatar of Guybrush Threepwood's evolution incidentally. TBH I much prefer the 2D versions from the first 3, so I'm hoping this one does not waver too much from the originals.

    Nice, this was the first PC game I ever played....well, either that or Loom, I can't remember. It was part of the old Sound Blaster 16 deluxe pack thing.

    Bought it on steam yesterday and I played it.
    It looks a lot better on a screen than on picture.
    The humour is there and it feels monkey island spirit (love the monkey coffin).
    Dialogue are epic too.

    Pirates, monkeys, voodoo and grog! Love it :).

    I think I may give this a shot with some friends. Get us all on Vent or something and chat our way through it. I never played the original(s) so this is a perfect opportunity to give it a shot.

    What are the prices on Steam? (I'm getting Websensed at work)
