    what sort of war games????? as in shooters or old school stuff? like hearts of iron style?

    For MMO you have to check out Age of Conan. For shooters, I would second Call of Duty 4.

    like i am a big fan of call of duty 4 but i already play that on 360 so i don't rly want it for pc.... i like games where i can rank up, level up and unlock stuff

    Bioshock, Orange Box, Battlefield 2/2142. I really thought Crysis was more of a joke, and didn't really find it entertaining. Pretty and shiny... but not much more than that.

    64 man maps. My GT runs all high, 1280x800 with 40+ FPS. We have almost identical specs, aside from the extra 512m of RAM I carry. I also OC my card a bit, but it is not required for BF2142.

    Honestly though, BF2 is a "Modern" style combat, where 2142 is futuristic. If you like tanks, jets, APC's, boats, etc. BF2 is the game for you. Imagine Call of Duty 4, but with maps 5 times the size, and all vehicles.

    Try Spore creature creator for 10 bucks, its a fun waste of time for 10 bucks and makes you want the full spore experience even more.

    just because AoC is the newest MMO doesn't make it the greatest imo. Prettiness isn't first and foremost. i've played both, and personally, i go w/ this. EQ2 > AoC > Guild Wars > WoW > EQLive > DaoC > the rest, asheron's call *sad it went to the backburner*, SWG *darn u SoE*, and any i'm forgetting.

    *EQlive would be above guild wars and WoW if they just changed small things like camera angle, the quest system, and the LFG system*

    FPS I'd say CoD4, Bioshock *if u like a FPS w/ a really unique story*, or if ur really into "twitch" shooters u can go for the ultimate in twitch, UT3.

    Also of note in the RPG *most MMO style are RPG* you got WC3, D2, Titan Quest, Oblivion, Morrowind, ...... dunno, is Fallout 3 here yet? prolly not, if there isn't a Zero Punctuation of it. Oh, and Mass Effect.

    Orange Box is a must have.

    Yeah, it's $15 a month. AoC is a lot better than any other MMORPG I've played, which includes WoW, EQII, Guild Wars, and SW:G.

    well i think i am prolly gonna get Bf 2142..... what a game that you can rank up or lvl up and unlock stuff like a game that will make wanna play it so u can get to that next lvl to unlock a wep or somethin......

    Any source game, if it is something old, I'd reccomend Half Life or Deus Ex, rainbow six games are good shooters.

    if you have a good system i would recommend Rainbow Six Vegas 2, good online play and loads of stuff to unlock. you get exp for killing people and use it to get new stuff. and it also has a single player mode
