    New Problem! Screen goes black or white after login AFTER driver install

    well I thought everything was fine. I logged back into Normal Windows after I uninstalled the video drivers, driver sweeper and everything. VGA drivers install perfectly. I can use my computer now, woot!

    Well I go online and download new drivers. And install them, everything goes good. Restart computer, I login. I see my icons, bitlord pop's up, then out of no where my screen goes white (or black sometimes)?!

    I tried the official nvidia drivers from the site, instead of white my screen turns black!

    Any one have any ideas on this issue?

    something new. I connected my HDMI cable to the lappy and it actually booted in and stayed up. I loaded counter strike with the HDMI cable in and once I got in a game it started freezing for a couple seconds then stopping, going black, then coming back and freezing again. This just keeps happening.

    Thought it might have been the HDMI cable, so I take it out and it still does it. I alt+tab to the desktop and notice I have an error in the taskbar telling me that my driver has stopped responding and that it has been restarted. I go into the game and it starts working.

    Thinking all is fine, I restart the computer without the HDMI cable in and the orginal issue where I log in and after a few seconds my screen goes black happens again.

    I'm affaird if I try 10 different drivers none will work. But I will try anyways.
