Theres a new Star Wars game coming out later this year, Its called:

    Star Wars: the force unleashed.

It will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS

The physics and AI are the best i have ever seen in a game.

    What are your thoughts?

crysis physics sucked, you can drive a jeep into a building, knock down walls with your fists , but you cant break the wooden boards on the wooden walkways, the physics in crysis are pretty much summed up like this "you can break what we let you break", some posts snap in half while others are unharmed by anything, its very inconsistent if you played crysis you know, and makes it more frustrating than if they didnt make anything destructible, because your left wondering "why can i break this piece of lumber but not that piece of lumber

I KNOW RIGHT, at first while I was watching the trailer with the developers talking about all the engines especially havok which is used in FEAR, I thought it did be released for PC then I realize they pretty much release it for every other platforms besides PC. :(

I think there will be a PC realease. Since it will be on all major consoles with so diferent capabilities (PS3 - 360 - Wii - PS2) then the game must have different quality level, that is different settings, so... then that leads me to infer there is no reason for not making it a PC release.

Although it seems strange it's announced as a console-exclusive game (exclusive to whom?, Sony-Microsoft-Nintendo??).

    I sure hope so.

I guess by console-exclusive, they literally mean "console" (Sony-Microsoft-Nintendo), no PC.

It will be a shame if Lucasart dont bring this over to the pc, considering the history they have with the dark forces/jedi knight series. Lets hope they get to their senses and give us pc owner what we deserve.

From the video the gameplay looks like more to the Jedi Knight series than KOTOR.

Baby steps, my man, baby steps.

Half-Life 2 was the same way. And many others don't do anything at all (CoD 4)

    Physics turned up at max?

Well... depends... get some custom maps... where they make it all destructible...

And in the end... they dont want you to just go in a straight line and finish the game....

    BUT BUT BUT

Someday they will find a way to make everything destructible but problem is... stuff will have to break down physically... and that would require alot of detailed shading etc...

But who knows... Crysis is not the best game with physics but its among the best...

Like most other "better played with a keyboard + mouse" titles out there,

Star Wars will most likely be released in PC sooner or later =_=

If it's released for the PC, I'm afraid to know what the system requirements would be.

Maybe better physics, but I'm assuming its not the free roam of Crysis. Its like the way Half Life 2 looks better and more detailed than Oblivion... but you can't just go off the track!

Fingers crossed for this, I've detested every Star Wars game really. Yes, even KOTOR. I thought it was absolutely awful...

Crysis didn't really have free roam, it just had really big linear levels...

Amen, only if you consider running around a big island with trees everywhere as free roam;on the island you have nothing else to do besides, well, shooting those trees. Shooting the Koreans are considered playing the game linearly because they are pretty much there to lead you to the next area.

Crysis physics is not so perfect, there are a LOT of bugs with it.
