I just sat down to get a game of Red Orchestra in before i started work on a paper for school. Steam updated and when it was all done, Red Orchestra was un-installed and yet still takes up space (16 friggin gigs according to my add/remove programs in the control panel).
What the he11 is this crap?
Anybody else having problems like this
Everytime steam updates I get some major problem. This is getting old and, even though i'm a huge fan of Valve's approach to game design, i'm really starting to hate their rotten guts.

hmmmm..odd, thats never happened to me before...have you checked out the steam support part to see if they have a resolution for your problem?
-
good luck mate, that happened to me and i had a huuuuge gap of a couple of gigs missing for months! was jsut too confused and tired of steam to bother! i replaced teh hardrive! scan around. someonel else is BOUND to have had the same prob. i suppose its like deleting stuff. its still tehre. but your comp jsut dosnt see that it exists! any ideas?

May seem like a dumb question, but you did buy RO?
They had a week of free RO a while back. but at the end of the week you had to buy it if you still wanted to play. It's not listing as "pre-loaded" is it? -
Well, Red Orchestra was on the next time I started steam up, but it still says that it's taking up 16 gigs

Check the size of the files in your steamapps folder (C:/Program Files/Valve/Steam/SteamApps probably). That's the size it's really taking up; Add/Remove progs in CP isn't always accurate.
