Surprised at how many people have the nVidia 6600 and also how many of them have less than 2 GB of RAM.

My own hardware looks like crap but then again my laptop is 3 years old and my desktop over 5 years old. I do not tend to keep up with the joneses but try to group my upgrades together. I also don't buy the lastest and greatest as far as graphic cards go or even CPUs. I typically aim for the bend in the price curve, maybe a little higher if I want to spoil myself.

The 6600gt was such a popular card because of it's bang for buck. That along with 1 gig of ram and an amd processor (3200+) got you a good gaming setup for a cheap price. That's why many have that card. The core 2 duo setup with 2 gigs of ram and a nvidia dx10 card is the new great value/performance system now.

    Nice link.

The coloring scheme they use seems to bias the results towards nVidia over ATI.

Not really, I mean when I think of Nvidia I think of the green logo and when I think of ATI, I think of their red logo.

I'm glad to see that users are updating their video card drivers. I remember last year most users were still in the 70's and 80's (Nvidia).
