i don't believe Xbox 360 can render this thing real-time. but yes, E.P.I.C.
-
That big dude is quite fleet of foot.
-
Yeah, athletic or no, jumping out of the way of an arrow in flight on a boat that is coming apart is...well, it's Matrix stuff. But who am I to complain about unrealistic reflexes in a trailer that also involves, y'know, magic?
-
it looks so fun while the game itself is so linear, it hurts.
I was disgusted when i was basically 100 to 0ing killer of kings on full hp and then BAM-KINEMATICS he strikes me once and i drop.
I d rather go to a movie if i wanted to watch something i dont control. -
I haven't gotten around to this yet, but it's on my list. Along with Witcher 1, still. And Skyrim, and Dead Space 1 & 2, and Arkham City, and... ... ... ...
-
Never played Witcher 1 but that was epic
I`m in the same boat as you Siberia. Have tons of games I haven`t played yet
-
He is a witcher so he does know some magic and a whole lot of other stuff
(possibly spoiler)
-
epic game.
id honestly play it again than do skyrim. -
I used to star in awesome video game trailers where I do all sorts of matrix stuff. Then I took an arrow to the knee.
-
I'm wondering how they're going to be able to code this for the 360 seeing as it's brought high end systems to their knees.
-
To be perfectly fair - The Witcher 2 is quite pretty even on lower-end settings. Plus I get the feeling that it's not all that well-coded, so when they're bringing it to a common platform, they'll probably be able to squeeze a little more performance outta it...
-
CDPR has already said that the 360 version is equivalent to the PC version on the lowest available graphic settings. It probably won't be a full 1280x720p or steady 30fps either.
That said, the fact that they got it ported down to such a modest system at all is worthy of praise. In the end it's good that so many more gamers will be exposed to such a great game. hopefully 360 owners buy enough copies to make the extra work worth it. -
And a port to ps3, and expansion packs or better yet the 3rd entry :d
-
my friend is playing it again on the new difficulty where supposedly theres new quests/gear
im probably going to hold off on witcher 2 till the enhanced edition arrives. -
I run it on minimum settings with a 540M and it's still gorgeous.
-
you don't type "possibly spoiler" after the spoiler
and nah it's not really a spoiler. -
epic...
10char -
excellent , i was wondering how that guy died
-
Here is some footage on the 360.
I don't know about you guys but this looks FREAKING AMAZING for it running on the 360. Holy crap.

I really cant wait to play this game.
-
Looks amazing ... I hope CD Projekt Red will also enhance our PC editions ... for free like they did with The Witcher? I certainly hope so
-
Grabbed patch 2.1 yet? If you haven't, there's a lot more content compared to the retail release. The game has likely been overshadowed by Skyrim this late in the day however.
-
Is it a recent patch? I haven't played TW2 in a while, but also never seen Steam doing some update to the game. Thanks and I'll check it out.
-
Man ... I really gotta finish this game .... Got to Chapter 2 and stopped due to distractions (of multiple games) .... But was loving the ride!
-
Tw2 on high settings is how skyrim will look with the best graphics mods. And high isn't the highest setting yet.
Also they do dragons much better than skyrim.

Still need to finish TW1 until I can play TW2...too many games to play catch up on and so little time. I still want to get into the Mass Effect series too...
-
This is how game development should work. The game is originally developed on the highest level of hardware (PC at this point in time) and then once it's optimized send it to the consoles. That way both worlds squeeze as much product as they can out of the game and PC gamers aren't left with terrible ports.

QFT +1
Absolutely positively! Seems to make sense to me. PC's will always have an edge on consoles so why not develop for the most powerful platform and optimize it for the less capable systems.
New Witcher 2 trailer.
