    New install of steam not updating

    I just got a new laptop, and i was installing counterstrike, but when i installed steam the update process wont go past 0%. I tried deleting the BLOG file, and reinstalling steam. Neither work. Any ideas?

    It could just be a steam server issue, try restarting your computer.

    i did a couple of times. I left it on for about am hour and still nada
